ST. AUGUSTINE, FL
I went back to my old stomping ground where I used to live for seven years; It's been twenty years since I meandered these beautiful historic streets. Besides more stores, art galleries, B&B's, and restaurants, the biggest change (not withstanding of course the restoration of Bridge of Lions)--- more cars. Too many. Traffic on these timeworn narrow cobble stone (Belgian brick) streets was ridiculous. Still, the architecture, carefully designed landscapes, and lush natural gorgeousness of St. Aug, remains unsullied.
