A NIGHT AT NIBLO's GARDEN
A visually spectacular homage to William Niblo's Victorian era (1880's) Pleasure Garden & Theatre that was once located in downtown Manhattan. (lot's of interesting info on Wiki)!!
This annual event takes place at The Green-Wood Cemetery, where William Niblo's Mausoleum looms grandly on the other side of the lake. (Sylvan Water)
As it neared sunset, the still lingering smoke, (many healing regards to Canada) added a bit of mysterious haze to the sky as we all spread out our picnic blankets around the lake.
