37th Annual MERMAID PARADE

To paraphrase Mr. Rogers: "It was a beautiful day in...Coney Island." Indeed it was, as glittering, shimmering mermaids & mermen strutted their fins down Surf Ave in Coney Island. It was my first time marching with the fabulous GlamsquadNY; dressed to the gills (in pearls, rhinestones, feathers and sequins) as Showgirls & Gangsters. And of course @Kostume Kult- whose theme this year was Metamorpho-SEAS swam and danced along side the Pirate ship float-- Pirate Queen's Revenge.
